Based on website exploration, our group learn from: https://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/grammatical-syllabus
that structural syllabus is:
The grammatical
syllabus has been defined as one which consists of a list of grammatical items
selected and graded in terms of simplicity and complexity (Nunan, 1998 in
Baleghizadeh 2012)
“A grammatical syllabus is based on the structures of a language.
It can be compared to other types of syllabi based around tasks, vocabulary,
functions or topics.”
Molinsky & Bliss, (2010) “Side by Side
Third Edition” fits this definition of structural syllabus,
therefore our group decide that this text book is developed based on structural syllabus.
Nunan (1998) in Baleghizadeh (2012), description about grammatical syllabus is organized fit the way Molinsky
& Bliss, (2010) organized the material in the textbook.
